| The penthouse apartment for a new building under construction on the Lower East Side of Manhattan includes six outdoor garden rooms. Two green roofs have been proposed, one supporting a grove of Yellow Groove Bamboo and the other a bosk of Ginkgo trees. A large steel and wood arbor shades the dining terrace and will support a Grape vine. A private studio terrace includes a water fountain and a two-story high Ivy wall. R/F is also consulting on the large steel planter boxes running along the street-side elevation of each of the building’s nine floors. |
